Her Credentials
Yasmine is currently registered as a Mental Health Counseling Intern in the state of Florida. She has completed her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Miami.
As Yasmine has always known that she wanted to be in the world of mental health, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychological and Brain Sciences at George Washington University, with a minor in criminal justice. As a forever learner, Yasmine believes that we as individuals are continuously capable of self-growth, adaptability, and flourishing within our romantic and social relationships.
Her Solution-Focused Approach
Yasmine’s appreciation for health and wellness and the mind-body-soul connection inspires her to integrate these components into her therapeutic practices. As a passionate learner of the human mind, she consistently immerses herself in experiences that will allow her to better recognize and appreciate others for their uniqueness and individuality.
With a multidimensional approach at play, she is committed to offering flexibility and openness for clients to have their needs met in a safe and limitless environment. Some of her interests include solution-focused psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral theory, nutrition and fitness based therapies, and somatic healing. Her approach highlights self expression, growth, and the acceptance of self and others.
Yasmine views the relation to self as a direct reflection of how we form relationships with others, and therefore values the importance of personal development and self value. With the proper boundaries set in place, she believes that relationships with others can allow us to reach our highest potential and fulfill our human desires and experiences. As she is knowledgeable about the sociocultural factors and societal expectations that have been engraved in generations worldwide, Yasmine relentlessly invites others to embrace their individuality and create a path for themselves that has no boundaries and limits surrounding self expression, acceptance, and self-love.
Yasmine was born and raised in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and has lived in Miami, Florida for 2 years. She is a devoted dog mom to her Yorkie, Tino. Yasmine is a passionate animal lover and life-long equestrian rider. Outside of the office, Yasmine loves spending time outdoors and grounding herself through exercise, nutrition, and meditation.
